Hi Folks -
Using VFP 9 running under XP.
I am trying to add a graphics logo to a company invoice. I've been
given the logo in a .jpg format, but the artwork is larger than is
needed on the invoice, so the first step is to reduce the size which I
did in an old version of Photoshop using the "Image Size" menu choice.
I then added a Picture/Ole Bound control to the invoice and pointed it
toward the resized .jpg file. I set it to "Clip Contents", so that
VFP wouldn't have to do the resizing. When I print the invoice
though, it is not as sharp as I'd like. I know it's not the printer,
because a PDF of an old invoice prints clearly.
I realize that since the image was provided in .jpg format, there is
going to be some degradation, but is there a better method of resizing
the invoice, or any other tricks with the report writer that may
improve the quality?
I have tried changing the image to a BMP before resizing, but that
didn't help.
